Today I decided to go to a small stream in the vicinity to try to get som pictures of a White throated dipper. I would suggest att long lens for this kind of photography because the Dipper can be quite shy. I used my trusty 300 mm f/2.8 IS with a 2x extender and since I couldn’t get closer than a 100 feet. This week I visited one of the many mines that exists in northern Sweden. While not the biggest (by far) still an impressive sight. Fog and snow made it a bit more dramatic than usual =) On my way home the light from the fading sun gave on one of the many bogs, I passed, a kind of reddish glow. I also found a small lake which had frozen over (probably for the first time this year).
