Yesterday Me, Fredrik and Emil went on a photo trip to Stora Fjäderägg. The weather wasn’t the best but we still had fun. It’s been a hectic spring with to little time left for photography. Many birds are probably having a more hectic spring than I ever could, but soon it will be over for this time. The Great tits in one of the bird houses at my summer house kept feeding their young long in to the evening.     /Sven  

This weekend I found a new favorite macro combination. I don’t own a macro lens, although I’ve been close to buying one several times. Instead i’ve used a Kenko 25mm extension tube for several years.  Inspired by our latest trip trying to, and to somewhat degree succeeding to, shoot some orchids, I  realized that i hadn’t tried the canon 40 mm pancake lens (Canon EF 40/2.8 STM) with the extension tube.
