Longing for summer
Today I went out to our summer house, mainly to check if everything was in order, and to fix one of the duck birdhouses.
I really began longing for summer the short while I was there. The forest where full of life, birds chattering and singing, row deers on the ice and a fox scurrying to shelter. Most of all, no city sounds.
Snow made focusing a bit difficult and thus requiring a smaller aperture. All photos in this blog post are shot with the 1d mark III and the 300 f/2.8 IS. Red crossbills where fighting for cones 30 feet up in old spruces. Not an ideal situation for photography and these are the best shotsI got.
Soon spring will be here =)
