Umeå was built on the river Ume, about 400 years ago. In its history parts of the town has burnt down twice trough russian attacks and because of slow firedepartments.

This morning i spotted some crows harrying a female Sparrow hawk. I only had my Canon 80D with a 70-200 f/2.8 and It doesn’t provide more than 320 mm reach in this combo. Anyhow, with a little (or much) editing, this is the result. Size comparison to a black crow. Almost as big as the female Sparrow hawk.

Trecking through 25 cm meter snow with a bike is not an easy feat. With wind and snow howling down on you, making your very bones shiver. (November 28)
